Apple Intelligence worked! iOS 18.1 reaches its peak

Apple CEO Tim Cook announced that the iOS 18.1 update is rolling out faster than expected. Speaking ahead of the company’s quarterly earnings call, Cook said that the usage rates of the new operating system are much higher compared to the iOS 17.1 update in the same period last year.

CEO Cook said that based on just 3 days of data, users are moving to iOS 18.1 twice as fast as iOS 17.1. Emphasizing that the data is still very new, Cook believes that this update rate is based on the artificial intelligence features of the new operating system.

This also comes after iOS 15 received faster upgrades compared to iOS 14 and iOS 16 compared to iOS 15. Of course, it is possible to say that no detailed information is given about iOS 18.1 usage rates on a regional or user basis.

CEO Cook did not share any data on the initial rates for macOS Sequoia, which gained Apple Intelligence features last month. The iOS 18.1 update comes as Apple prepares to report quarterly earnings.

With the official launch of iOS 18.1, it has become clear in which regions and in which languages Apple Intelligence will be available. The service, which is currently limited to English in the United States, will first be opened to other English-speaking countries.

Apple Intelligence, one of the newest players in the world of artificial intelligence, has announced plans to expand language support. However, there is some sad news for Apple iPhone users in our country: Turkish is unfortunately not among the 10 new languages added.
